Welcome to KnowBite, an AI-powered study platform that helps students and researchers summarize PDFs, transcribe audio, analyze YouTube videos, and generate quizzes and chatbot discussions (“Service”). This Terms of Service Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your access and use of our platform.
By creating an account or using any part of our service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.
When registering, you agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.
You agree not to use the Service for unlawful purposes or to infringe on intellectual property rights. You must not attempt to reverse-engineer or misuse our tools.
Our platform processes uploaded content (PDF, audio, YouTube) using third-party APIs like AssemblyAI, HuggingFace, and others. We do not own your content but require rights to process it for feature delivery.
Your account is subject to monthly usage limits based on your plan (Basic or Pro). Exceeding these limits may restrict your ability to upload or generate summaries, quizzes, or chats until your cycle resets.
We use Paddle to process payments. Your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled before your renewal date. Prices are shown in USD and may be updated with prior notice.
We may offer a 3–7 day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged for the selected plan.
You may cancel your subscription anytime from your dashboard. Refunds are not guaranteed and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, or external service failures may impact availability.
All content, software, and branding on the platform are owned by us or licensed for use. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute it without permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating these Terms or attempting to misuse the platform.
The Service is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee accuracy, speed, or uninterrupted access. AI outputs may contain errors or omissions.
We are not liable for damages or losses resulting from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the last 3 months.
We may update these Terms. You will be notified of major changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
